Here's one of the 1,642, 378 things that don't make sense about the World: Why does the Stupor Blow not start until 3:30? What's wrong with that 1pm PST/4pm EST start time that seems to work for countless regular-season games. Have I missed something? Do we Have to allow for an additional 2.5 hours of astoundingly insipid pre-game programming? Someone please explain!
Having said that, here's what grinding me: It seems the "national consensus" is to root for the underdog Giants against the JuggerPats, but I have a problem with that. I will derive no enjoyment out of seeing the Giants win, given that 1) this is another Boston-New York sports matchup, so *YAWN* and 2) I am bitter because I know for a fact that my Seahawks were a better team -- at least in the regular season -- than the Giants. If the Giants win, I think I will just be irritated a New York team won a championship. I can't believe I'm saying this, but It's almost to a point where I would just rather have the Pats win and make history -- which, by the way, I believe they Will do. This isn't to say I'll be rooting For the Pats... frankly I can't bring myself to do that. I guess what it comes to is that sitting here typing this, with 2.5 hours to kill before the game starts, I'm grasping for reasons to even watch the game...
