So, do I have a job or don't I? I still do, but barely... and I just don't know what the fuck to do about it right now. For some stupid reason, I am sticking with this, even though my hours are sporadic and part-time at best... but I figure if I can pick up some side work, I can make it all work out... I just don't know what the fuck to do with myself... one could easily ask/and/or/say "why don't you just go get another job," and I really don't have a good answer for that. So, in the meantime, I'm still Officially employed... for what its worth, which isn't much... this company, frankly, just doesn't seem worth it, so why the hell am I sticking with them?!!!

But aside from that, boy howdy, has the weather been nice lately.

I went to the Sounders vs. San Jose Earthquakes exhibition game last night, with T&A. Angie, for her first profesional soccer game, was treated to the dreaded 0-0 draw...uugh... Then, in the UEFA Champions League final, AC Milan vs. Juventus, which I taped and then watched last night and this morning, it goes scoreless for 90, then another 30 of added time, before Milan wins on the dreaded Penalty Kick Shootout... ugh... fortunately, I was spared from this, as I only set the VCR to tape until 2:00pm, and it cut off the end. Serendipitous good fortune, a blessing in disguise, whatever you want to think of it as.

I heard the high today was 78 deg F. Welcome to summer! Like I've always said, "Unofficial" Summer, i.e. the de-facto "Summer Season" is Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend. Enjoy it!

In case you didn't know, or just don't pay any atttention, I went to the Oregon Coast for Memorial Day Weekend, spending some QT with Cuz Andy and the V.P. (Very Pregnant) Jody at the Rockaway Beach cabin. It was good times, mostly good weather (in fact, some perfect weather!), and as a whole, the weekend felt Far too short. If you care, you can see some pictures here

After a great week of training last week, I didn't go running at all over the weekend. Sure, I took a couple of nice, long beach walks, and was generally active -- except when hideously hungover Sunday morning -- but as usual I packed my running gear and fully intended to, but never did. No big deal, I guess. Anyway, today, after 4 days off, I went to Disco. Park for my "somewhere around 4.25 mile down to the lighthouse and back up" loop, and managed to but 40 minutes. This means I am still pathetically slow, but not As pathetically slow. I actually have Some measure of fitness now, which is encouraging. Hopefully, I keep this up
