Ambiguously Disgruntled Manifesto

wasting your time since 1975

I played like crap tonite, and we got our butts kicked... it was brutal, they ran circles around us. As i was driving to the arena, and warming up, I just didn't feel "in to it," and I played a terrible game. Lackluster and too passive at times, just running around in circles at others, and always a littany of bad touches and decisions with the ball... so there you go. I need an enema now...

On a seperate note, it has been ugly, shitty, pissing weather most of the day... just you typical Seattle winter wrist-slitting sutff we thankfully haven't seen much this year... and now Winter is almost over...

...life plods along...

I played another soccer doubleheader on Sunday, I didn't play the entirety of both games, but most of the first one and much of the second one, and thus was very sore yesterday. I went for my now-becoming-usual very short Tuesday Night Jog tonight, then came home and made hash browns and French Toast for dinner - yep its Breakfast for Dinner. My planned once-a week stair workout has fallen by the wayside these last couple of weeks, and I shall rot in hell for that, but I'm having trouble "fitting it in" amongst soccer games, orienteering meets, and my own damn lassitude...

I'm still "working" on the storage area/workshop next door, now putting up the drywall/sheetrock/whatever you prefer to call it on the walls, after running a bunch of wiring and fiddling with insulation. It seems like everything is a slower-than-it-should-be process over there, but it keeps plodding along, forward progress continues to be made...

I got some soccer tickets for my birthday present -- the fact that they will actually arrive in early April and my Mom paid for them makes them such -- 2 tickets to the Man U/Celtic match July 22, and a bunch of "vouchers" that I can turn into Seattle Sounders -- they are playing in Seahawks Stadium this year -- tickets for whatever games I feel like. Pretty slick. I'm doing My part to get a damn MLS team in this town, which is why I voted for that damn stadium -- at the time I wasn't really all that concerned about the 'Hawks at all.
