Last weekend -- and I'm referring to the one of April24-25th -- is just too far gone for me to write about anymore, except to say we Did have the Greg thing/Foxy Night... etc etc. And I didn't take very many pictures, for whatever reason, so I never posted them.
Last week I didn't get very many hours in at work, but that allowed me to enjoy the splendid weather of Thursday and Friday afternoon, go kayaking, and get some general errands done, including a trip to REI and LOF-ing my car.
This last weekend was Officially kicked off by the Vicki B-day observance at the Spaghetti Factory, for which I posted pictures. After that, I found myself going to bed Shockingly early -- for a Friday night -- just because I felt like it, although I also had the "reason" of getting up to go help Juli move at 9 the next morning.
The move was relatively painless, and quick, and I got a big lunch out of it. Saturday afternoon I bottled some beer -- Piss Free Pilsner -- and sat around being lazy, then played in a soccer game at 5:00 pm. We lost 3-1 to a team that didn't have legal players -- ie they didn't have player cards -- so it might stand as a "forfeit" win for us. I played decently well... I guess.
After the game, I headed up to the Tangletown with Greg and Troy, were we drank beer and argued semantics. We walked home in the rain, then Troy departed, Jon came over, and we watched a few episodes of Family Guy on DVD, which Jon brought over.
Sunday I got up leisurely, did very little much of the day, the played in the aforementioned (previous blog entry) miserable soccer game -- a 2-2 draw. Then it was Foxy night Luau, where We tried the first few sips of Pineapple Lambic (a joint venture of Ambig. Dis. Brewery and Atomic Wang Prods.). It certainly pineapple-y!
Later this evening, I will go about my usual weight lifting routine, then rush upstairs to watch the Canucks try to close out the series against Minnesota.
so there you go... that was kinda a lame entry...
