ugh... I'm coming down with a cold... this sucks.
Christmas was... it Was. 22 people at the 'Rents house for dinner and then the gift exchange. (just the Rents and I in the morning opening gifts), 5 of whom were 4 or younger, including two toddlers. Too much for me. But the spiced Xmas ale from Ambig-Dis was a real hit. I got some all-grain brewing equpiment (10-gallon kettle with false bottom and spigot, and sparger) so I'll be making Breakfast Stout, all-grain style, sometime Very soon.

I've been thinking about what to post today as my "Haulidaze" gift to my faithful readers (all 4.5 of you!). Originally, I thought of following last year's precedent and posting a porn clip, then some cute, fuzzy kittens frolicking, for those of you not interested in the porn, but honestly, it all seemed a little tired and contrived.

Then I though about giving y'all what I am giving myself today. Namely, nothing. To be left alone and not have to go anywhere or do anything. Sure, tomorrow will be the Big Family Thing, and I'm sure I'll get a bunch of presents, but Today is my Day, and I am sitting around, being lazy, and I refuse to go anywhere or do anything, or deal with anyone (although I may go for a jog around the Lake in bit). I can't think of a better way to spend my day.

But, in the end, that seems like a bit of a cop-out, honestly. So I'm left with doing Nothing because I suck and I'm lazy, is what it really amounts to. Oh well, at least its appropriate...
