Here are my "Pick 'Em picks for this weekend:

NFL:
Broncos buck See Hacks
St. L' ams ram Bears

Williams cook Chefs
S' aint's work a miracle on Han Solo and Chewbacca (okay, that's a stretch)

PAC -10:
Condoms cover the Sun Devils
Ducks fly away from the Snarlin' Puppy Dawgs
Golden Bears maul the Kitties
Beavers chew through the Trees
(how witty I am today)

I think I'm up to 30783 (2198.8/day) words on the "novel"... but I have a hunch I might be couting some words twice. I can sa with 100% confidence I have at least 28500.

my indoor soccer team absolutely got our butts kicked last night... it really wasn't pretty...

theres thunder and lightning going on right now... its raining like a sonofabitch

as of this moment, I have 23334 words for NaNoWriMo

As is the case over at POD, The Manifesto is going to go lacking for content for most of the rest of the month. I apologize for this, but promise that when this "novel" is finished, this Blog will return to its glory.

...so, on to next week's "Pick 'Em" games:

NFL:
(Sunday night) New England @ Oakland
(Monday night) Chicago @ St Louis
Denver @ Seattle
New Orleans @ Atlanta
Buffalo @ Kansas City

PAC-10:
UCLA and WSU have a bye, because their game was moved to Dec 7th for TV purposes (ostensibly so the "retired" Keith Jackson could broadcast another of his alma mater's games)
like I said, the schedule gets a little fractured, next weekend are all the "rivalry games", then any games after that will probably be part of the same, multi-week set of picks, leading up to Bowl Pick 'Em, which will inlcude all BSC games, and any bowls PAC-10 teams are playing in.
Washington @ Oregon
Oregon State @ Stanford
Arizona State @ USC
Arizona @ Cal-Berkeley

Well, how about "Pick 'Em results:

With the tie between Pittsburgh and Atlanta, everyone gets half points for that game. I love ties!

There are only two weeks left in the PAC-10 "regular season," after that, the schedules get fractured. Some PAC teams still have games, like the Dec7th WSU-UCLA game, so I'm not sure how I'm going to work it. But do stay tuned for the "College Bowl Game Pick 'Em" during the holidays.
and how about the WAZZU Cougs, ranked 3rd!

Jake (that's me!)

PAC-10: 8
