Do you ever wonder if you're just out of touch because the world has passed you by with its insipid mediocrity?

Tyler has come up with as good a reason as any for hotheaded insolence.

So Friday night the Cuz and Jody decide to come up for a visit and beer exchange. Andy's Dellenbaugh brewery made some Jake's Dark and Bitter, which is pretty good stuff, and Andy tried some of my cider, porter, and amber. We also opened the first bottle of the Breakfast Stout and it is pretty good stuff. I'm pretty damn proud of myself on that one. If any y'all visit soon, be sure to ask for a bottle. The Getherdrunk Hard Cider is... potent. Some have said it's "pretty good," other's have said it's "interesting." Whatever it is, it's potent.

I'm going to order some hop rhizomes this week from a farm in Yakima, and grow them in back under (and up to!) my bedroom window. I'm planning on getting Cascade and Chinook. Before too long I'll have my own operation up and running.
