This is a very unique beer, in that it is very strong, but you wouldn't know it from the flavor. Various spices were added during the brewing process, including cinammon, cloves, and nutmeg, as well as orange peels and honey. The result is a very malty beer, with a proportinate amount of Chinook and Cascade hops, that doesn't Seem strong and hoppy. The Cascade boiling and finishing hops, with their citrus flavor notes, interact well with the orange from the rinds to give it a fruity aftertaste after the initial cinammon et.al. essence of the beer. This is an ale that I have found is popular amongst "non-beer" people.
